A Mans Life
Mans Life is about creating and environment where men can connect and be empowered to live Godly lives, to lead, and have influence in their homes, work places, our community & nation and around the world.
We have a variety of events like annual camps, Mens breakfasts with visiting speakers, nights out, Friday morning prayer group and little adventures like walking the Tongariro crossing or The Pinnacles.
Learning to work together, building men to be men, to lead on the front foot
both physically and spiritually.
Standing strong together.
Men’s camps are every second year so bring on 2018!
Mens Camp is all about hanging out together and doing ‘guy’ stuff! It may involve camping or in cabins but either way it’s with others that you will enjoy meeting. There are always great feeds and fun activities – these have included boating, team river activities, walks, and clay bird shooting. It is for 15 years upwards. Mens Camp is usually at the beginning of the year so look out for it and book it into your calendar!Click here for MORE INFO and to see what went on at Mens Camp 2018
Event: 21-22 September 2018
This is a weekend where we will see a powerful move of God, where we as men will be ignited and empowered to walk in greater levels of purity, purpose, passion and power.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses on multiple platforms.” Acts 1: 8 (Para)
Once a year the men go bush and prove their manliness by walking up big hills. So far their has been the Pinnacles and Tongariro Crossing. It’s a time to get to know others while enjoying creation. They are usually towards the end of the year when the weather warms up and it’s time to stretch those muscles again. Keep your ears open for it, they are worth being a part of!
Next Event: TBC
A few times during the year, guest speakers come in and time is set aside for them to speak into the men of our church and our community via Mens Breakfasts. A great hot breakfast is provided and then the speaker is given time to share. And of course there are conversations of the meals with your friends.
Look out for these as there are a few of them throughout the year and bring your mates. Keep a look out on the Church Calendar.
